Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her father was a car salesman, while her mother worked as a teacher. Jennifer was the youngest child from her extended family. She frequently accompanied her mother, who was employed as a teacher at school as well as a theatre teacher to shows. She found her very impressive. Jennifer's parents split at the age of five. Jennifer lived the majority of her life within British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four children. Jennifer didn't get a good education, despite being an extremely artistic kid. When she was a kid, Jennifer was often targeted by bullies in schools across Canada. When she was in high school, her love for theatre began to fade. To combat her loss of interest, her mother encouraged her to be an extra in various productions. All of her children were motivated by their mothers to pursue a love for art. Her immediate response was to take action.
