Yael Stone

Stone was brought up at Sydney, Australia, where she studied at in the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone's acting career began as a child, when she was her role in Me Myself I. and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She was named the award for Best Newcomer at Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. She also worked in television as a supporting actress in All Saints and Spirited. In 2010, she was a lead actor as a lead in The Diary of a Madman. This role earned her a second nomination for the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. She traveled from Sydney to New York in February 2011 for an upcoming Brooklyn Academy of Music production of The Diary of a Madman.
